Interwetten Bundesliga Partnerships

Interwetten extends Bundesliga sponsorships

Interwetten has extended its sponsorships with Bundesliga clubs VfL Wolfsburg and TSG Hoffenheim until 2023.

The online gaming operator, originally founded in the Austrian capital Vienna, first joined forces with Wolfsburg at the beginning of the 2019/2020 season.

Interwetten has been partnered with Hoffenheim for a little longer, beginning business with them at the beginning of the 2017/2018 season.

Since partnering with TSG, Interwetten has been a key contributor to the club’s marketing and advertising campaigns.

“A reliable partner”

The partnership with Hoffenheim will effectively have the same conditions as before. This means that Interwetten will receive exposure from LED advertising, TV ad presences, mini-banners and cam carpets.

TSG has enjoyed a successful spell since the sportsbook joined forces with them, competing in their first-ever Champions League campaign in 2018/2019.

Interwetten CEO Dominik Beier spoke about the company’s intention to continue being a reliable business partner, saying the following.

“We have been a reliable partner of sport for 30 years – we need sport as a business basis and sport has been counting on us as a partner and sponsor for years. We usually maintain long-term, trusting cooperation and make sure to do this with partners at the highest level. We want to continue to stick to this path in the future.

“With TSG, Interwetten has been maintaining an open and trusting partnership for three years, into which we have a lot of passion. The digital innovation and the enormous professionalism of VfL impressed us immediately after we started our collaboration in July 2019. With both clubs, the TSG and the VfL, we want to celebrate success together, learn from each other and develop together.”

Extended partnership with Wolfsburg

After a successful initial sponsorship signed in 2019, Interwetten will now be expanding its partnership with VfL. This will involve the operator’s branding appearing on advertising boards for domestic television broadcasts. Some forms include LED PowerPack boards, cam carpets next to both goals and logo placements across press walls. Digital branding will also be included.

Wolfsburg is one of Germany’s best-known clubs, winning the Bundesliga in 2009 and finishing runners-up in 2015. They have a significant social media presence, with around two million followers across all platforms.

The club has also been an active participant in driving digital research projects. On top of this, it has played a leading role in introducing 5G technologies within German football.

Speaking about the extended Wolfsburg partnership, Beier said the below.

“The digital innovative power and the enormous professionalism of VfL immediately inspired us after we started our cooperation in July 2019.

“With both clubs, TSG and VfL, we want to celebrate success, learn from each other and develop to- gether. We are very happy about the extensions.”
