DMF Session Preview: Social responsibility in gaming

With less than one week to go until our Digital Marketing Forum (DMF), our agenda is focused around ensuring your digital marketing questions are answered by our panels of experts.

At the event, attendees will experience the top-quality panels and speaker presentations, along with some of the biggest personalities in the affiliate and digital marketing industry. Our experts will be talking through a lot of key points, latest trends and divulging some hot digital marketing insights along with new industry developments.

The Digital Marketing Forum takes place alongside Betting on Sports and CasinoBeats Summit, and this year it will be addressing social responsibility in gaming.

This session discusses what is happening with tighter regulation on acquisition marketing such as the strict KYC process, Whistle to Whistle TV advertising ban, Bonus restrictions and how these things are impacting the customer acquisition model, affiliate pricing, and by default creating new and innovating customer conversion techniques.

On our panel of experts for this talk, we have the moderator, who boasts a lot of experience and knowledge in this field – Christina Thakor-Rankin. As Principle Consultant at 1710 Consulting, Christina has 25 years’ experience working at all levels and across all aspects of betting and gaming operations with some of the world’s best known brands.

Our moderator for this panel intends to cover the generational shift of the millennials, and the way they think, feel, behave and most importantly what they expect from the brands and organisations they chose to engage – the days of ‘throw money at the problem’, or ‘build it and they will come’ are over.

Also on the panel, who will be answering your questions is Laurenci Dow, Head of Marketing and Affiliates at Jumpman Gaming. Laurenci oversees Jumpman Affiliates, the bespoke affiliate platform software, which is used by their partners to easily and effectively manage their sites and affiliates, while running the best deals possible in the most compliant and socially responsible manner.

Another one of our speakers for this panel is the founder of Rightlander.com, Ian Sims. Rightlander is a compliance monitoring system which analyses affiliate sites and provides both affiliates and operators with data on the status of affiliate content from a compliance perspective, along with reports detailing the relevance of the landing pages that affiliates send traffic to.

Rightlander clients include some of the industries’ major players including Bet365, 888, GVC Holdings, bgo, Mansion, Leo Vegas and Kindred.

Prior to starting Rightlander, Ian worked as an iGaming affiliate for 13 years and has himself featured in the Power Affiliate rankings during this time. His vocation as a developer, combined with his insight into the affiliate side of the industry, formed the perfect base for the development of the Rightlander product.

Finally, our forth guest on the panel is, Allan Turner, the founder of Mustard GamesAllan has over a decade of iGaming experience.

Starting out in affiliate management positions with operators such as Genting, Gala Casino and bgo, he has developed into an extremely competent all round marketer with steady promotions at casino powerhouse bgo Group leading to him becoming Head of Marketing/CMO for the last few years.

In January 2019 he setup a full service iGaming marketing agency called Mustard Digital in order to use his extensive knowledge to service clients across the industry.”
