AskGamblers Awards 2020: who will win Best Software Provider?

We’re days away from the 2020 AskGamblers Awards and the iGaming industry is preparing to fly to Belgrade. And while the operators take a share of the limelight, it’s only fair that we include the tech guys too.

That’s why 10 brands are in the running for Best Software Provider. Who’s got your backing?

Another accolade for NetEnt?

One company that’ll fancy themselves is NetEnt, who were voted Best Game Provider at the 2019 ceremony. The Swedish iGaming titan continued to make significant progress last year, launching multiple exciting initiatives. Some of these include the aggregation platform NetEnt Connect, plus a new mobile interface for its Live Roulette title.

Understandably, pride is high in the NetEnt camp. Marketing Director Trevor Westacott particularly values the AskGamblers Awards, because it shows that what they’re doing works. He said: “I am very proud of all the awards that our games and products win.”

Westacott continued: “The AskGamblers Awards is particularly special because it’s an acknowledgement that comes straight from the players. Last year was a great event and we’re looking forward to see what the 2020 version holds.”

Will somebody knock them off the throne?

Few within the industry will be surprised to see NetEnt nominated, but there are a couple of brands that’ll be eager to swoop in and taste victory. Play’n GO is one of those. It recently released its first game of 2020 – Legacy of Dead – but will hope that its chances of first place aren’t buried.

Hot on their heels will be Playson, Pragmatic Play and Betsoft. The last of these three is already on a high, having won RNG Supplier of the Year at the 5Star Starlet Awards last October. At this event, it also picked up Game of the Year for Max Quest: Wrath of Sa.

Microgaming will hope to have more than a small chance of finishing top of the pile, as will Red Tiger. Meanwhile, BGaming completes the list of nominees.

We’ll be there and live

Affiverse is once again the official media partner of the AskGamblers Awards. Co-Founder and CEO, Lee-Ann Johnstone, will be in attendance. And she’s looking forward to getting started.

“I’m honoured to be joining AskGamblers in Belgrade for the 2020 Awards after a successful ceremony last year”, she said.

Johnstone continued: “Don’t be afraid to get involved yourself, not just with the voting. You can tune in live on the night from the AskGamblers site and follow the awards on social media too.”

Voting for the AskGamblers Awards is open until 17th January, when the winners will be announced. Vote for your preferred winners here.
