To mark this year’s International Women’s Day, Affiverse CEO Lee-Ann Johnstone caught up with three influential females from the igaming affiliate space: All-in Diversity Project co-founder Kelly Kehn, ComeOn Connect Head of Affiliates Katy Stafford and Global Gaming Head of Affiliates Elaine Gardiner.
The group discussion centred on the perpetually changing world of igaming, with the four thought-leaders reflecting on ICE and the London Affiliate Conference (LAC). Johnstone also asked how they believe diversity has changed the industry:
“One of the things I’ve noticed is a shift towards content,” began Kehn. “And you can’t have good, relevant content if you don’t have diversity of perspective coming to the table. If you don’t have different perspectives then you’re only appealing to one particular audience.”
“In terms of content and what’s actually been written about the industry, I think it’s incredibly important to have a wider range of views,” agreed Stafford. “It’s always been a very male-dominated industry with male-dominated views, but things are getting better. There are more and more senior females in the industry that are pushing things forward.”
