Roulette is striving to be a “classy new take on the classic table game,” which has been developed by independent game studio Switch Studios, exclusively for Microgaming.
RELEASE DATE
The new release is available to Microgaming operators today.
THE PITCH
Roulette is set to be the first in a new suite of table games offering by Microgaming, and follows a number of demos introduced last year, as Switch Studios made its debut.
Aiming to bring “the ultimate roulette experience to online audiences,” it promises a “slick and contemporary design” alongside a “simple yet sophisticated interface” that is designed for desktop and mobile gaming.
GAME DETAIL
The title is built on a new game engine, containing special bets, favourites and racetrack betting features, designed to enhance the overall gaming experience for players.
Along with their spin result history and other betting information, players can access an alternative bet board layout and unique bet options through the racetrack feature.
The favourites feature intends to make betting simple, as players can save their preferred betting options, or use special bets to access a range of pre-selected bets.
WHAT THEY SAY
David Reynolds, games publisher at Microgaming, explained: “Encompassing a close-knit group of online gambling and social gaming experts, Switch Studios are focused on bringing innovation and style to the online table gaming sector.
“The first in a suite of stylish and sophisticated table games, Roulette is a classic game re-imagined for a new generation of players and a fantastic addition to Microgaming’s content portfolio. Players can place their bets, spin the realistic 3D roulette wheel and immerse themselves in the thrill of this classic game wherever they go.”
Tom David, head of studio at Switch Studios, commented: “We are very proud to unveil our first official game release under the Switch Studios brand, exclusive to Microgaming. Our aim is to deliver the best selection of classic table games that players enjoy, and Roulette is set to pave the way for a new series of table games to come.
“The game contains advanced features in a modern setting, and holds appeal to a growing market of casino players. We have worked hard to create a game that players will love, and we look forward to releasing our next game Blackjack in the coming months.”
