The air was charged with energy, ideas, and innovation at CLICK Summit 2025, India’s leading gathering for affiliate and performance marketers. From the unprecedented pace of e-commerce growth to the increasing influence of fintech, from gaming’s changing audience to travel apps enhancing the travel experience, the Summit represented an ecosystem that is dynamic, fast, agile, and future-minded.
During the three-day event, the summit contained panels, live demos, and discussions on attribution, measurement, and privacy-first solutions, giving marketers an opportunity to learn, share, and discover new ways to achieve growth. In addition, marketers from India were on display with new ways of working that are continuing to shape global trends, demonstrating that India’s affiliate and performance marketing sector is clearly a major player.
While the industry was buzzing, we were glad to introduce Tangent, the annual newspaper that captures trends, success stories, and the stories behind successful campaigns. Tangent is about the stories showing results — how brands plan and optimize their campaigns, how brands are using tools like SmartLinks and CAPI, and who drives the innovation behind the scenes. It even has special features that showcase women in tech and adtech, reminding the industry that creativity, leadership, and grit are as important as data and technology.
Earlier this year, we also released a companion magazine offering in-depth interviews, outlooks on trends, and long-form insight from a marketing perspective. Together, Tangent and the magazine create a storytelling cadence for the industry; the magazine starts with inspiration and ideas, and Tangent finishes things up with the results, challenges and successes. Both provide a context for the industry and provide the pace, precision, and creativity of this ecosystem.
CLICK Summit 2025 also underscored the emerging presence of India on the global marketing landscape. Innovations in mobile attribution, influencer measurements, and new technologies showed that Indian marketers are not simply following trends; they are creating them. As an organisation, Tangent captures these significant moments for marketers and will provide knowledge and insight from the Summit throughout the rest of the year.
The knowledge exchange and actionable learning were themes emphasised throughout the Summit. From learning directly about attribution to discussing how to be privacy compliant in the IDFA-free world, the attendees were able to extract several things that they could implement into their own work. With live demonstrations of analytics dashboards, influencer measurement tools, and automated attribution platforms, the learning was both practical and progressive.
Diversity and inclusion were also strong and notable themes. The panels and conversations included celebrating women in leadership, recognising rising talent, and highlighting inclusive campaigns, communicating that the marketing industry can only succeed with the combination of creativity, innovation, and human insights. Tangent showcased those stories that gave visibility to individuals and organizations that were making change for the better, and showed how leadership and creativity intersect in marketing today.

Looking forward, Tangent will be published each August alongside CLICK Summit, while the magazine will appear every March. Together, they offer continuous insight into the industry — a pulse on innovation, a look at creativity in action, and a record of growth, achievements, and transformations. Marketers can anticipate trends, reflect on successes, and learn from shared experiences throughout the year.
CLICK Summit 2025 also put a spotlight on India’s evolving technology landscape and the ways brands adapt to that change. Mobile-first strategies, AI-based analytics, and privacy-aware solutions have provided marketers with new ways to reach and engage their audiences. Tangent captures these aspects, using data, analysis, and human stories, to develop a connection between the strategy and the people executing it.
Cross-industry collaboration was another defining feature of CLICK Summit 2025. Leaders from various industries including e-commerce, fintech, gaming, and travel spoke about case studies, strategies, and insights.
