The European iGaming market continues to present both extraordinary opportunities and complex challenges for affiliate programs seeking sustainable growth. While industry consolidation reshapes the competitive landscape and regulatory frameworks tighten across key jurisdictions, strategic players are doubling down on relationship-building through targeted event participation.

Makeberry Affiliates exemplifies this forward-thinking approach. Under the leadership of Affiliate Inhouse Team Lead Kateryna Rybka, the company is expanding its European footprint through calculated event investments. Their dual participation in SBC Lisbon and SiGMA Central Europe's inaugural Rome edition represents more than brand visibility—it signals a sophisticated understanding of how strategic networking drives long-term partnership value in an increasingly saturated market.

Exclusive Insights from Kateryna Rybka

We sat down with Kateryna to explore how Makeberry Affiliates is approaching these pivotal industry gatherings…

Q. Makeberry Affiliates is participating in both SBC Lisbon and SiGMA Central Europe in Rome, this year. What factors influenced your decision to invest in these particular events, and how do they align with your broader market expansion strategy?

A. Lisbon and Rome are must-attend events on the iGaming calendar, so we couldn't miss them. Beyond brand visibility, they give us the chance to connect directly with partners, regulators and innovators driving the industry forward. Our presence there supports Makeberry Affiliates' international growth strategy and strengthens our position in key European markets.

Q. SiGMA Central Europe is making its debut in Rome this year. As an exhibitor with a stand, what opportunities do you see in this new Italian venue, and how might the change in location impact the type of partnerships and conversations you're expecting to have?

A. Rome is a fresh venue to connect with partners from Southern and Central Europe, regions gaining strong importance in iGaming. Exhibiting at the debut SiGMA Central Europe lets us showcase Makeberry Affiliates and establish a strong presence from the very beginning. We expect more region-focused discussions on regulation, player behaviour and long-term partnerships.

Q. How has Makeberry Affiliates adapted its affiliate program and partnership approach to meet the evolving needs of affiliates, and what new initiatives will you be showcasing at these events?

A. We've been focusing on flexibility and transparency, as these are the qualities affiliates value most. Over the past year, we've upgraded our tracking and reporting, and introduced tailored deals to better support different traffic types. At these events, we'll be showcasing these enhancements and how they help affiliates achieve stronger results.

Q. What specific value propositions or innovations will you be highlighting to potential partners in Lisbon and Rome?

A. In 2025, we've strengthened our position by becoming the direct advertiser for WinSpirit and RocketPlay casinos. For partners, this means more competitive deals, transparent collaboration and faster deal adjustments. At Lisbon and Rome, we'll be presenting these exclusive offers and demonstrating how Makeberry Affiliates adapts to each partner's needs, whether B2C or B2B, while keeping performance at the core.

Q. How does Makeberry Affiliates balance the need to meet new potential partners at events with nurturing deeper relationships with existing high-performing affiliates?

A. We see both directions as equally important. Events open doors to new opportunities, but they're also the ideal setting to sit down with our top affiliates and discuss how we can grow together. For us, it's about striking the right balance between exploring fresh opportunities and strengthening the partnerships that already work well.

Q. Looking beyond these immediate events, what trends are you seeing in affiliate behaviour and expectations that are shaping how Makeberry Affiliates will approach partnership development?

A. We closely monitor industry trends to guide our decisions, helping us stay aligned with what affiliates expect. Today, that means flexibility, transparent communication and effective tools that genuinely support their growth – the core pillars of our partner-first approach.

For affiliates evaluating potential partnerships, Makeberry's emphasis on transparency, flexibility, and performance-focused collaboration represents the partnership qualities that drive long-term success.
