Affiliate Spotlight: Owner of – Darrell Moulton

Affiliate Spotlight shines a light on the latest affiliate sites from around the world. 
This week we chat with Darrell Moulton of , Bet Calculator,, and, who lists the reasons for the sites staying power, whilst also looking to what the future holds.
Affiverse: Can you begin by introducing your sites and explain what makes them so different?
Darrell Moulton: Initially started in late 2004, they bring together free betting offers and bonus deals from a handful of well known high street brand bookmakers looking to develop their online presence. Fast forward to 2019 the sites now feature free betting offers from over 40 UK bookmakers and their casinos.
AI: There are a number of sports betting affiliate sites out there. What makes your affiliate sites stand out from the rest?
DM: Our long and established relationships with many of the bookmakers enables us to list some exclusive offers.
We keep the content fresh with regular updates, it’s worth re-visiting the site every week as new offers come and go and some are only around for a limited time.
Quality over quantity: all sites featured are licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission.
Transparency: the necessary key qualifying terms are stated under each offer – minimum odds, free bet time limits, wagering requirements, etc.
We rate, review and categorise the offers: a bookmaker might be favourable for a particular sport for example so we’ll try to show that.
Extra incentives the bookmakers offer: odds boosts, cash out, accumulator, insurance, live streaming and more.
AI: How important is the ‘Bet Calculator’ when it comes to generating traffic and clicks?
DM: It’s another string to the bow of a free bet site, it does help generate some traffic. It’s a useful tool and another reason for a re-visit when you want to work out potential winnings alongside your free bets.
AI: In what ways (if any) will the UK’s Remote Gaming Duty hike affect operations?
DM: We are mainly sportsbook focused so the increase will not affect us too much as it only applies to online games of chance and not sports betting.
AI: As we move into 2019, what are your projections for the next twelve months for your sites?
DM: More of the same, whilst not standing still. Adding more new bookmakers, developing new relationships, more exclusive offers. Dedicating pages to specific big events like Cheltenham and Wimbledon when the bookmakers offer separate deals for those weeks. And, of course trying to Improve search rank.
