Popfly launched Popfly Shop on November 5, 2026, bringing outdoor creators’ storefronts together on a public shopping site. It opened with more than 250 collections and gear guides from 100 founding creators, according to Popfly’s launch announcement.
Popfly says most visitors to individual storefronts previously arrived through creators’ own social links. The shared shop is free to browse and gives people looking for outdoor gear a way to discover recommendations from creators they haven’t followed.
The founding group includes athletes Ana Eyssimont and Brooklyn Bell, along with GearJunkie founder Stephen Regenold. The catalog includes products from retailers such as Backcountry and outdoor brands such as The North Face and Osprey.
Shoppers can browse categories such as running or climbing, compare prices, and follow a creator to see their available discount codes. Creator codes can also go with a wish list when a shopper shares it.
A creator could build a packing list for an overnight hike with links to a tent, backpack, and sleeping bag. Creators can also embed YouTube reviews with product links tied to the points in the video where they discuss the gear.
Sephora has put creator selections on its retail site, and Condé Nast has worked with Vette on shoppable recommendations. Affiverse has covered both approaches in its reporting on creator storefronts in beauty.
Popfly lists impact.com and AvantLink as affiliate network options for brands. Merchants with an AvantLink program can connect it to Popfly to work with creators. The separate self-service Shopify option starts at $199 per month.
Product links send shoppers to the retailer’s website or app to place an order. The retailer’s price and offer terms apply at checkout, and the retailer handles shipping and returns.
A sale through an eligible affiliate link may earn a commission for the creator, Popfly, or both. Creators must disclose paid arrangements with Popfly or brands to promote a product or the shop under the Popfly Shop terms.
Popfly says it is investing more than $100,000 in creators ahead of the holidays to bring shoppers to their storefronts. Participating brands can get their Black Friday offers featured and sponsor a day of Popfly’s 15-day shopper giveaway campaign.
For brands already working with outdoor creators, one reporting question is whether they can separate visits that start in Popfly Shop from those a creator sends through social posts. Both can lead to the same retailer, so the referring placement matters when assessing which content generated clicks and approved sales.
A shopper might copy a creator’s discount code from a shared wish list and go straight to the retailer. A test order can show whether the code alone credits the creator and how the program assigns credit if the shopper also follows an affiliate link. Affiverse covers tracking and offer checks in its Black Friday affiliate marketing guide.
