Returning to its roots, SiGMA Europe attracts an international and diverse lineup of industry leaders to its annual Malta Week festival, bringing a convergence of expo, conference, and networking. Its economic contribution to this typically cold shoulder month makes it a mainstay for the islands.
An impact assessment report carried out by E-Cubed Consultants revealed that the SiGMA Group’s Malta-based summit generates the equivalent of 950 jobs for one year, while international visitors to the event in November will occupy over 60% of 4 and 5-star hotels in Malta during their stay.

In Malta, the gaming industry has seen 20 years of growth and success. It now directly contributes more than 8% of the country’s GDP. Nearly 10,000 individuals are employed in the gaming sector today, which accounts for about 4% of all jobs, with hundreds of professionals employed by the sector’s support services.
